It has been a great ride, thank you to everyone for your support, your patronage, your smiling faces on Sunday mornings. As the weather becomes cooler and we all retreat to our warm and cozy habitats remember to continue supporting the "little guys": the local farmer, the creative artist, the small food cart. These are the people that have inspired us. Look into
Gardenripe's CSA farm subscriptionfor next season. Try shopping at local shops for the holidays or purchase on
Etsy, a site for craftspeople to sell their wares locally and globally, you can even search for Portland, Oregon...we have MANY crafters in our area.
Take a friend to the
Lavender Tea House in Sherwood and enjoy some of the pastries we've offered at Caffe Fratelli.
And for coffee....try to buy Organic, Sustainable Coffee. It might not seem like a big deal, but it is to those lands most coffee comes from.
So, on our counter this final week, enjoy mocha brownies and snickerdoodle cookies from
DeRoover Bakery. Santine DeRoover has many wonderful baked goods sprinkled throughout our area you can contact her for locations.
